It functions both as a true 1:1 life-size macro lens and as a standard walk-around 50mm lens for everyday street scenes, food photography, and portraiture.

- Maximum Aperture: f/2.8 at infinity. Note that like most macro lenses, the effective maximum aperture narrows as you focus closer, reaching f/5.6 at 1:1 magnification.
