The Hasselblad 503CX is a legendary medium-format SLR film camera introduced in 1988 as an evolutionary upgrade to the classic 500C/M. - TTL Flash Metering: Its most significant addition is an internal OTF (off-the-film) flash meter, which allows for dedicated TTL flash exposure with compatible SCA-system flashes.
- Acute Matte Screen: It comes standard with the Acute Matte focusing screen, which is significantly brighter than older ground glass screens, making focusing much easier.
- Fully Mechanical: The camera is entirely mechanical and does not require batteries to operate the shutter or film advance, though an ISO dial is present for the TTL flash system.
