The Olympus 9mm f/8 Fisheye Body Cap Lens is a fun and ultra-compact fisheye lens for Micro Four Thirds (MFT) cameras. It is designed to be so thin and light that it can be left on the camera body as a body cap when not in use.

- Body Cap Design: At just 12.8 mm thick and weighing 30 grams, the lens is incredibly slim and lightweight.
- Micro Four Thirds Mount: It is compatible with all Olympus, OM System, and Panasonic MFT cameras.
- 9mm Fisheye: With a fixed 9mm focal length, it provides an extreme 140° angle of view, creating distinct, curved fisheye effects. This is equivalent to an 18mm fisheye in the 35mm format.
- Fixed f/8 Aperture: The lens has a fixed aperture of f/8, simplifying exposure settings. In bright conditions, this creates a vast depth of field.
- Manual Focus: Focus is set manually using a small lever on the lens, which has preset positions for infinity, hyperfocal distance, and a close-up setting for subjects as near as 20cm.
- Lens Cover: The focusing lever can be slid all the way to a final position to close a built-in lens cover, protecting the front element.
- Lens Construction: It has a simple construction of 5 optical elements in 4 groups, including two aspherical elements.
