The Nikon PN-11 is a legacy auto extension ring for F-mount cameras, known for its specific design that includes a rotating tripod collar.
It was primarily developed for use with the Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 AI-S lens to achieve 1:1 macro reproduction. While it’s particularly well-suited for that lens, it can be used with many other Nikon F-mount lenses to achieve closer focusing.
