Item Description
The legendary Nikon F2 is one of Mifsuds favourite classic 35mm film SLR cameras. The superbly designed successor to the original Nikon F. The F2 is an all-metal, mechanically-controlled (springs, gears, levers), manual focus SLR camera with manual exposure control.
This is the updated F2A, launched in 1977. The main new feature was compatibility with AI lenses. The Auto indexing lever can be folded out of the way for use with Nikon’s earlier “Pre Ai” Lenses, although in this mode stop down metering must be used. F2A features the DP-11 Metering head which uses a traditional swing lever style light meter.
