Canon EF 1.4x Extender II is compatible with most Canon telephoto L series lenses. It multiplies the focal length by 1.4x and you lose 1-stop of light.
The converter is designed to fit between suitable bodies and lenses to increase the focal length
Please check compatibility before purchase as they are really designed to work on fast pro lenses such as 70-200mm f2.8, 300mm f2.8, 400mm f2.8, 500mm f4 etc and not lenses such as 18-135, 18-200, 70-300 etc etc etc – As will not fit, and may damage lens etc etc.
